Echocardiogram (Heart Ultrasound)

Heart Ultrasound, a non-invasive diagnostic test, comprehensively evaluates the heart’s anatomy and function. During the test, the healthcare provider examines the four chambers, four valves, outflow tracts, veins, heart size, and the coronaries in four different positions in real-time. The entire procedure usually takes around 45-60 minutes to complete.
Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)

Additionally, this standard test looks at the heart’s electrical system. It evaluates the heart rate, rhythm, muscle thickness, and the timing of the heart contracting and relaxing (also known as intervals). For example, intervals assess heart block or long QT syndrome.
Heart Monitor (Holter/Event Monitor)

Holter and Event monitors monitor the heart rate and rhythm actively. Holter provides continuous monitoring for 3-7 days, and can actively monitor for longer periods if necessary. The event monitor, however, actively associates the symptoms with the heart rhythm and is wearable for up to 30 days.
